As proof, the «Family Cool» area, a real treasure for families is located in the gentle beginner’s area of the Altiport and offers numerous beginner’s pistes and fun areas. This is also somewhere your children can marvel at the many entertainments on offer throughout the winter season. Eagle spotting, ice sculpture shows, bouncy castles and all sorts of activities to turn your little one’s heads and make skiing a real family pleasure!
Playgrounds for the enthusiasts and committed
For bigger ones and experienced experts, yearning for thrills, the GoPro couloir will take you into the historic Tournier couloir at the top of the Saulire with its slope which flirts with the 75% mark in places! The ideal place to create your shock freeride images. However, make sure you assess your ability, this vertiginous couloir is reserved for excellent skiers.
A different experience for freestyle fans
Several freestyle areas have been created in the Méribel Valley ski area. Both beginners and «pro riders» can test themselves in around 2 hectares of curves, obstacles and jumps. Suitable for all levels, they are perfectly arranged for skiing as a family and for experiencing some unexpected moments.
